Darren here,

I have heard GD students being attached to EA and LucasFlim for attachment and stuff. But what about the new companies like KOEI?

Hey Darren,

Truth be told, Koei isn't really *that* old here in Singapore. We're always in dialogue with companies to see what sort of partnerships we can do with them, including FYP and attachments, so keep your fingers crossed.

The best way to make sure you get the attachment or FYP of choice is to find out how to make better games - technology- or design-wise. I believe these would be revealed one way or another in your assignments, so keep at it!

Cheers!

Yea thanks! I knew about Koei back then during my Olevels, but i didn't really hear or read much about them here in singapore.

BTW another qn,

Other than these 3 "big" companies, what other major companies or even local game companies are there in singapore?

Hey Darren,

Apologies for the lapse in replying.

Here's a list of Singapore companies on the IGDA/Singapore Chapter Wiki. The list is by no means complete and is in need of updating (cleanup of defunct companies).
